Your blog is very well done and critically important to prevent future scams…helping prevent more trauma and tragedy. Hard to say, but you are lucky you made it out alive. The sociopaths ruse is deception upon deception. Since people are objects they are disposable to the sociopath. Not all allow their prey to live to tell the tale.
They are able to do horrible things we would never dream of doing – and there is no moral compass or guilt feelings to stop them. Thank you for your courage, commitment and hard work. Your work may save lives.
I’m so sorry for your traumatic experience with a sociopath. It’s admirable that you fought your way out of it, collaborated with his other “partners”, and took back what you could recover. Often very smart, successful people fall for their scams – because they are just that good at what they do— and the sociopath has more to gain.
I admire your work and look forward to following your blog. I wish you the best.
